At Delta Printing Press, we are fully committed to protecting the environment and continuously improving our practices to reduce our ecological impact. By integrating the use of recycled materials alongside our environmentally conscious practices, we are taking meaningful steps toward a greener future.
Our Environmental Management Plan emphasizes reducing waste, improving recycling, lowering energy and water consumption, and incorporating sustainable materials into our production processes.
We firmly believe that even small steps toward sustainability can create significant positive changes. Here are some of the key initiatives that reflect our commitment:
Waste Reduction
We focus on minimizing paper consumption, reducing wastage during production, and efficiently managing electricity and fuel use.
Recycled Materials
Wherever possible, we incorporate recycled materials into our production to reduce reliance on virgin resources and support a circular economy.
Waste Segregation
We have established systems to identify and recycle materials while ensuring the safe disposal of hazardous chemicals and e-waste.
Press Room Green Initiatives
We’ve reduced the Isopropanol content in our fountain solution from 11% to 2%, significantly cutting down on plate wastage. Additionally, we use eco-friendly hot glue, promote green spaces in production areas, and train our team on waste reduction practices, including cutting, binding, and glue applications.
